'Zelensky: Kyiv did not play role in N. Stream 2 damage'

 Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky insisted on Sunday that his country did not participate in any operation to damage the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

Speaking at the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) summit in Kyiv, Zelensky noted that Ukraine was part of an active investigation alongside German authorities. "It is very important for us that we do not lose our partnership, that we do not lose the trust of European countries that have been helping Ukraine since the very beginning of this war. And therefore we are absolutely open to joint steps regarding the investigation and joint steps to clarify all the circumstances of those actions at that time," he stressed.

Russia has been constantly accusing Ukraine that it played hand in the damaging of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, which occured in September 2022.
