Yemen's Houthis reported a ballistic missile and drone strike targeting weapons depots and command centers at a military base in Sharurah, Saudi Arabia, saying the action was in response to ongoing regional hostilities.
"The operation was carried out with a large barrage of ballistic missiles and drones," Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree wrote on Telegram, warning that continued actions "will be met with more intense and larger operations deep within its territory."
Saree added that the strike was carried out "in response to the continued aggression of the criminal Saudi enemy against our country."
