Saudi Civil Defense lifts danger alert in Taif

 Saudi Arabia's Civil Defense lifted an alert over a potential danger in the Taif Governorate minutes after issuing the warning.

"The danger has passed in Taif Governorate. For your safety, continue following #CivilDefense instructions and avoid gathering and filming," the post on X said.

The country's civil defense previously urged residents to head to the nearest safe place and remain there until the danger has passed.
