Palantir Technologies and Nvidia announced on Thursday that they will partner to bring sovereign AI capabilities to critical supply chains, first applied to Nvidia's own complex operations before being offered to enterprise customers.
The companies are integrating the AI darling's Nemotron open models into Palantir's Foundry and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), using the Palantir Ontology to provide greater supply chain visibility, identify bottlenecks, and automate operational decision-making while keeping proprietary data under company control.
The companies said the technology could eventually be deployed across industries, including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, retail, agriculture, and government, as demand for AI infrastructure accelerates. "Supply chains are the operating system of the physical economy, and AI factories are among the most complex systems ever built," Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang noted.
