Iran sharply condemned the IAEA Board of Governors’ decision to report Tehran to the UN Security Council over breaches of its nuclear non-proliferation obligations.
Iran’s mission to international organizations in Vienna said on X that the resolution would facilitate the “further erosion and ultimate collapse of the proliferation regime as a whole.”
The 35-nation board approved the US, British, French and German-backed resolution on Wednesday by 23 votes to three, with eight abstentions. China, Russia and Niger voted against it.
