Saudi Arabia launched an artillery strike against areas of northern Yemen, Iran's Mehr News Agency reported, citing unnamed sources. No additional information about the attack was provided, however.
The attack is said to target Saada province in northern Yemen and coincides with heavy clashes between Yemeni government forces, which are backed by Riyadh, and Houthis. Moreover, the Houthis have been carrying out regular ballistic missile strikes on Saudi cities, including vital oil infrastructure.
There was no information about casualties or damage.
