Iran’s Revolutionary Guards praised the Hamas-led October 7 attack as “one of the greatest operations in the history of the resistance” and said it shattered Israel’s security structure, in a statement marking the terrorist attack’s third anniversary on Tuesday.
The statement said the regional balance had shifted in favor of Iran’s so-called axis of resistance over the past three years and described the October 7 attack as a turning point that destroyed what it called the myth of Israel’s military invincibility.
The statement said armed groups in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and Syria are operating alongside Iran in confronting Israel and the United States. The Guards also said the United States had failed to achieve its objectives despite supporting Israel and threatening Iran, and claimed Iranian forces had delivered decisive responses.
