French Finance Minister Roland Lescure said on Tuesday that the government is ready to invoke constitutional powers to bypass Parliament to pass the planned spending cuts for next year's budget.
"We're going to use whatever it takes," Lescure told The Wall Street Journal in an interview.
Last week, the finance minister outlined plans to cut the budget deficit to 5% of GDP through €43 billion in spending cuts and other measures.
