Adams wants migrants charged with crimes deported from NYC, dares progressives to ‘cancel me’

Commit a crime, get deported before doing the time.

Mayor Eric Adams said Tuesday that he’s open to deporting migrants from New York City who have been charged with crimes — a shift from his past stance of waiting for convictions before shipping off immigrant criminals.

Adams said he soon plans to meet with President-elect Donald Trump’s new “border czar” Tom Homan on the incoming administration’s plans to potentially deport accused migrant criminals.

“My position is people who commit crimes in our city, you have abdicated your right to be in our city and I am open to figure out the best way to address that,” he said.

“You’ve got a guy, he’s on camera shooting at a police officer,” he said, referring to Bernardo Castro Mata, a 19-year-old from Venezuela who illegally crossed into the US before allegedly shooting two NYPD officers.

“I don’t want that guy in my city, plain and simple.”

He added: “Those who are here committing crimes, robberies shooting at police officers, raping innocent people, have been a harm to our country.”

Hizzoner contended many progressives in this era of “cancel culture” have been afraid to put their foot down on deporting criminal immigrants.

“Cancel me, because I’m going to protect the people of this city,” he said.

The mayor’s newfound openness to hardline actions comes as the Big Apple — a city defined by the immigrant experience, where the Statue of Liberty beckons “huddled masses yearning to breathe free — braces for Trump’s promised mass deportations and other crackdowns.

Homan recently told The Post that he wants the incoming administration to withhold federal funding from sanctuary jurisdictions such as New York City.

He has also warned that Big Apple leaders won’t be able to stop the feds from deporting migrant criminals.

“If we can’t get assistance from New York City, we may have to double the number of agents we send to New York City,” he said on Fox & Friends last month. “Because we’re going to do the job with you or without you.”

Rather than fight Homan and Trump, Adams offered an olive branch, arguing the 2024 presidential election showed Americans want a change on immigration and the US border.

“The American people heard it and voted for it,” he said about Trump’s promises to secure the border.

He said spoke with Homan Tuesday and soon will meet with the incoming border czar.

“I want to make clear I’m not going to warring with this administration, I’m going to be working with this administration,” he said.

“I’d like to speak with our border czar and find out what his plans are. Where our common grounds are, we can work together.”

Adams, a former NYPD captain, has publicly played “good cop, bad cop” on immigration issues even before Trump’s electoral victory.

He has pushed for compassion for the 200,000 migrants who flowed into New York City over recent years, and presided — albeit begrudgingly — over $6.4 billion in spending for food, shelter and other services.

Adams had previously believed that migrants should have their day in court before possibly ejecting them.James Keivom

And Adams drew the line at deporting law-abiding undocumented immigrants and DREAMers, such as his commissioner of immigrant affairs Manuel Castro, who crossed the US-Mexico border as a 5-year-old.

“Those people should not be rounded up in the middle of the night,” he said. “These are people who love our country and they’re participating in our country.”

But Hizzoner has also repeatedly to loosen the Big Apple’s sanctuary city laws, specifically for working with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement when migrants are accused of serious crimes.

When a reporter pointed out that Adams himself faces criminal charges, he contended there’s a difference between his case and any migrant accused of crimes.

“First of all, I’m an American,” said Adams, who has pleaded not guilty. “Americans have certain rights. The Constitution is for Americans and I’m not a person that snuck into this country. My ancestors have been here for a long time.”

Ask Dr. Nancy

 by Lloyd Billingsley

President Trump’s choice to run the Centers for Disease Control is David Weldon, a physician, former congressman and critic of the CDC and its vaccine policies. Before he deals with those, Weldon might chase down a CDC alum who played a strategic role in the pandemic but has managed to escape accountability. That would be Dr. Nancy Messonnier, longtime director of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) and in early 2020 the government’s first official voice on the pandemic.

In a series of telebriefings (links in this article) Messonnier told reporters a “novel virus” had arrived stateside from the “Wuhan market” and would spread across the country. The virus was “capable of spreading easily and sustainably from person to person” and “there’s essentially no immunity against this virus in the population because it’s a new virus.” The CDC was working closely with China but Dr. Messonnier said she was “not at liberty” to talk about individuals returning from Wuhan. She did not reveal which government official was laying down the rules.

In May of 2021 Dr. Messonnier suddenly retired and CDC director Rachel Walensky hailed her as a “true hero,” with no explanation of why she retired or what she did to earn hero status. These were hardly Messonnier’s only unknowns.

In 1995, Dr. Messonnier began her career as an officer of the CDC’s  Epidemic Intelligence Service, a legion of intrepid “disease detectives” tasked to prevent dangerous viruses from arriving on American soil. This medical CIA raises key questions for David Weldon. What does the EIS know about the origin of the “novel virus” from Wuhan? How was it vectored to the United States? What did EIS veteran Nancy Messonnier know, and when did she know it? Who was laying down the rules about what the CDC official could reveal? And so on.

As Weldon may know, Dr. Messonnier is the sister of Rod Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general who tapped Robert Mueller to investigate the bogus charge that Trump colluded with Putin to steal the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton. For coincidence theorists it’s all happenstance, but the people have cause to wonder.

Former attorney William Barr claims Rod Rosenstein made “important contributions to the administration and the country,” with no explanation of what they were.  Maybe Trump’s attorney general pick Pam Bondi could look into it while CDC director Weldon,  RFK Jr. at HHS, and NIH director Jay Bhattacharya deal with Messonnier, Fauci, Francis Collins et al. So much to uncover, and the people have a right to know.

KUDLOW: No surprise President Biden lied to us about pardoning Hunter

Kash Patel must clean out FBI corruption

Now more than ever, we need Kash Patel to clean out these FBI stables of corruption and that's the subject of the riff. It's no surprise that Joe Biden lied to us about pardoning his son Hunter – because Biden has lied throughout his presidency on COVID, inflation, budget deficits, Afghanistan, the border crisis, Trump's tax cuts, and the Hunter Biden laptop. Here he goes again on his way out the door, with a particularly mendacious lie about a breathtakingly large-scoped pardon for son Hunter, but here's the key point as I see it…

The incredibly broad scale of his pardon, from 2014 through 2024, is tantamount to an admission of guilt by Hunter Biden and Joe Biden to all the influence peddling that financed the Biden family crime syndicate and the fact that the Biden Justice Department tried its hardest to defend Hunter.

The fact that the Biden Justice Department tried to put Donald Trump in jail for 750 years, with their weaponized lawfare attack that never had any merit at all. All of this shows why it is essential to clean up the Justice Department and the FBI.  Now, bring on stage Kash Patel, who President Trump is nominating for FBI Director.

Patel is Mr. Cleanup. He is a brilliant guy with vast experience in law, national security and fighting crime. He will come into the FBI not to take revenge, or wage a new weaponization, but instead to cleanse the agency, to clear out all the deadwood because, right now, the FBI is caught in the throes of its greatest corruption period since J. Edgar Hoover and this must stop. It must be ended. President Trump knows this and Kash Patel is exactly the guy to do it. Take a listen to this tape from our show two weeks ago:

KASH PATEL: "The worst weapon we have in government is a two-tier system of justice that's been weaponized, and I think it's time that Donald Trump came in there with a sweeping mandate that the American public gave him to return a singular system of constitutional justice. Here's the thing. There is no revenge list. If Donald Trump is successful, he will make these institutions – the FBI, DOJ, D.O.D., successful forever."

Kash Patel famously uncovered the "Russia, Russia, Russia" hoax financed by Hillary Clinton, supported by the FBI, and cooked up by their crooked mouthpiece, Christopher Steele. Kash Patel has served as Senior Director for counterterrorism at the National Security Council, Deputy Director of National Intelligence, and Chief of Staff at the Defense Department. He has tried over 60 jury trials. He has been both a prosecutor and a public defender. So, he knows all about domestic and international crime.

He is exactly what the FBI needs and Kash Patel will work closely with Pam Bondi, the brilliant woman and former Florida Attorney General who will become President Trump's Attorney General and will work hand in glove with Kash and other new officials to clean out the dirty stables of justice that has regrettably prevailed in this country for the past four years – if not longer.

America wants – and needs – a fair, neutral, and impartial administration of justice that conforms with the founding fathers and the Constitution they wrote.

Kash Patel and Pam Bondi – and let's include John Ratcliffe at the CIA – are going to show that a successful administration of law and security will, to coin a phrase, "make America great again."

Newsom's Publicly-Funded War Chest: "Trump-Proofing" State Could Be Costly For Californians

 by Jonathan Turley,

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) is widely known to be angling to be the next Democratic presidential nominee after the implosion of Vice President Kamala Harris. This week, Newsom positioned not just his campaign but also his state as part of the “resistance” for the next four years against the Trump Administration. Newsom pushed a special session to secure a $25 million war chest to take the Trump Administration to court, even before the inauguration and release of policies by the incoming administration.

I wrote earlier about how the loss of both houses, as well as the White House, will mean that lawfare and obstructive efforts will shift to the states. Newsom is moving to out-position governors (and potential primary opponents) like Govs. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania and Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan.  Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker moved first in a chest-pounding press conference that he would stop the incoming administration from trying to remove undocumented persons, declaring, “You come for my people, you come through me.”

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) added that he will “fight to the death” against Trump’s agenda.

Newsom has upped the ante by demanding millions to pre-fund litigation against the new administration.  With a massive budget debt burden, Newsom has continued to pile on new debt for politically popular initiatives.

I cannot recall any state pre-positioning funds for the sole purpose of litigating against any incoming administration. The most obvious area of disagreement is the effort to ramp up the enforcement of immigration laws and to carry out deportations. While polls show that the public overwhelmingly supports such enforcement, including deportations, California is seeking to take the lead in court actions designed to slow or frustrate such efforts.

It could prove costly, not just in litigation expenditures. The Trump Administration could seek to withhold federal funding from states and cities obstructing enforcement efforts.

In the meantime, sanctuary cities are continuing to face rising costs associated with rising populations of undocumented migrants.

For example, as we previously discussed, Denver Mayor Mike Johnson (D) declared that he was preparing the Mile-High City for its “Tiananmen Square moment” to fight the federal government in any attempt to deport unlawful migrants.

Johnson warned that he would have not only Denver police “stationed at the county line to keep [ICE] out” but also “50,000 Denverites.” He later walked back the comments while repeating that the city is positioning itself to be part of the resistance.

Now the Common Sense Institute (CSI), a non-partisan research organization estimated that eight percent of the city’s 2025 budget of $4.4 billion is now dedicated to housing and services for undocumented persons.  If true, that amounts to $356 million or $7,900 per migrant.

California has led other states in offering a wide array of benefits to undocumented persons.

Notably, Californian voters surprised many Democrats this election with almost 40% voting for President-elect Trump over California’s own Vice President Kamala Harris.

There is an obvious political advantage to Newsom in securing these public funds to assume the mantle as the leader of “the resistance” as a foundation for his 2028 campaign.

The question is how such an obstructive position will prove to the advantage of Californians. As citizens sought to increase criminal penalties by passing Proposition 36 by over 70 percent (over the opposition of Newsom), the governor is focusing on setting aside millions to fund a high-profile legal campaign against Trump’s administration.

Ultimately, the litigation campaign is unlikely to change federal enforcement efforts significantly. However, Newsom hopes it will significantly change his electoral enhancement efforts.

Mysterious 'Car-Sized Drones' Over New Jersey Prompt FBI Investigation

Several weeks of mysterious drone swarms over the skies of one New Jersey county near the military research and manufacturing facility Picatinny Arsenal have sparked concerns among residents and prompted an FBI investigation.

"It's kind of unsettling," Mike Walsh, a Morris County resident who has spotted the drones on numerous occasions, told local media outlet PIX11 News.

He said some drones "are very big, probably the size of a car."

Since Nov. 18, Walsh and many other residents have spotted these drones in the night sky.

"They're kind of go slow," he said, adding, "They come towards you. Then they change direction a little. They're all going different ways."

We first detailed the story on Nov. 19 in a note titled "Spy Drones? "Unusual Activity" Reported Over Morris County, New Jersey, Near Military Research Facility."

The potential national security threat piqued our interest, considering multiple reports that the mysterious drones were observed near Picatinny Arsenal.

PIX11 News said the FBI's Newark field office has joined the investigation with other law enforcement agencies to determine who is flying these drones.

PIX11 News contacted the FAA, which said it's received reports of activity near Morris County. The FAA has two Temporary Flight Restrictions prohibiting drone flights over Picatinny Arsenal and Trump National Golf Club Bedminster

"People think they were UFOs or being spied on," Erica Campbell told media outlet NBC 4 New York.

Given the close proximity to the highly controlled airspace around NYC, we suspect that if these drones actually posed national security threats, stealth fighter jets armed with Sidewinders would have neutralized these threats almost immediately.
