'IRIB: Iran said to make Israel's Lebanon withdrawal its red line'

Iran considers the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanon as an "important red line" in its negotiations with the United States, and as one of the conditions for the final agreement, Iranian state broadcaster IRIB reported on Thursday, citing a source close to Iran's negotiating team.

"The final memorandum of understanding guarantees Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity. This issue became the single executive mechanism for resolving the dispute with Iran's participation, which was emphasized in the Swiss text, and Iran is following the timetable for its implementation," the source reportedly said.

According to the report, the volume of Israel's attacks in Lebanon decreased "significantly" in the past six days, which Tehran sees as an indicator that its actions have been "effective."
