The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Saturday that it killed two Hamas members in strikes in the Gaza Strip on Friday, saying the operations were carried out to "remove an immediate threat."
The IDF identified those killed as Nukba company commander Hani Abd al-Hai Fakhri Mazloum and Hassan Zidan Hassan Deiri, a sniper in Hamas' military branch.
According to the military, the two were also involved in "the trafficking and supply of weapons to Hamas terrorists." The IDF claimed they recently "continued to advance attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians" and worked to restore Hamas' capabilities "in systematic violation of the ceasefire." Earlier on Saturday, the IDF said it killed another Hamas commander in the Deir al-Balah area in central Gaza.
