Several major oil companies from the United States and several other countries signed project deals with the Venezuelan government on Wednesday.
The companies that signed agreements to invest in Venezuelan oil fields, expand operations there, and conduct research include Chevron, North American Blue Energy Partners (NABEP), Hunt Oil Company, GE Vernova, SLB, Crossover Energy, KEO Capital, and Primavera from the US; Eni from Italy; GeoPark from Colombia; and ONGC from India.
Interim Venezuelan President Delcy Rodriguez and US Energy Secretary Chris Wright presided over the ceremony in Caracas.
