The Joint Maritime Information Center’s update on maritime security incidents recorded on Saturday listed three tankers disabled by US forces near Iran.
JMIC said US Central Command confirmed the STARK 1 was permanently disabled near Jask in the Gulf of Oman, the DOWNY off Kharg Island and the KYLO, also known as NOXEN, in the Gulf of Oman.
The update comes after the Revolutionary Guards claimed its naval forces had struck three oil tankers and three US-linked vessels in retaliation for US attacks on Iranian tankers.
