Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz said on Sunday that the country's inflation rate is expected to stand at 28.4% at the end of this year.
In a speech on the economic Medium-Term Program (MTP) for the 2027-2020 period, Yilmaz noted that inflation is seen rising 21% in 2027 and 13.5% in 2028. He added that Turkey's inflation is set to fall to single digits by the end of the MTP.
Meanwhile, the country's gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to grow by 3.3% in 2026, with the economy then expected to expand by 4.2% in 2027 and by 4.6% in 2028.
