Saudi-led coalition says ‘large-scale operation’ underway against Iran-backed Houthis

The Saudi-led coalition said Friday it was carrying out a “large-scale operation” targeting Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi personnel and military capabilities.

In a post on X, coalition spokesperson Major General Turki al-Maliki said 136 military targets had been destroyed in Houthi-controlled areas.

The coalition said it was also working to dismantle and destroy the Iran-backed Houthis’ ballistic missile network while providing round-the-clock air support to units of Yemen’s armed forces.
