SpaceX Founder and Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk said on Friday that the rocket company could eventually reach a valuation of $1 quadrillion.
"...I believe there is such a path and the probability of achieving it is not zero," Musk said on X. The world's richest man previously said he can see a path to SpaceX becoming "worth orders of magnitude more than the current Earth economy."
As part of Musk's growing business portfolio, SpaceX announced that it purchased a nationwide low-band spectrum license portfolio of up to 14 megahertz of paired spectrum in the 800 MHz band, potentially becoming "a major mobile carrier" in the United States. The news shook up the telecommunications sector, sending stocks of US leading providers, such as T-Mobile Inc., AT&T Inc., and Verizon Communications Inc., to crumble.
The company currently holds a $2 trillion valuation.
