United States President Donald Trump proclaimed during an election rally in Syracuse, New York, that "everybody" wants to leave the state due to Democratic mismanagement.
"What's happened in the last number of years is very sad to watch; you had a couple of bad mayors, you had a lotta bad stuff happening, and it's only getting worse," Trump noted, adding he saw reports of companies leaving the New York Stock Exchange for Texas. "That really hit me .... they gotta get their act together," the US president said, inviting voters to support Republican candidates in New York in the upcoming midterm elections.
At the same time, Trump expressed hope that New York Attorney General Letitia James and Governor Kathy Hochul would be thrown out of office, labelling the former Democrat official as "disgusting."
