Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation confirmed on Saturday that King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was targeted in the latest attack.
"The attack resulted in a number of injuries, which are currently being assessed," the authority said in a statement, adding that all operations have been temporarily suspended, "pending completion of the assessment of damage and verification of the facility's safety, in coordination with the relevant authorities."
This marks the third time since the airport in Riyadh was struck in the past week, as military conflict with Yemen's Houthis has escalated.
