Anthropic PBC introduced a personal finance feature in Claude on Thursday, allowing users to "securely connect" their bank and card accounts.
In a post, the company pointed out, however, that the access is "read-only," adding that the new feature "can't move, manage, or invest" a customer's money. "Personal Finance has no ads or sponsored recommendations, and it doesn’t offer credit cards, loans, or savings accounts of its own, so your money questions get a straight answer," Anthropic explained.
The feature will start rolling out in the beta version this week for those who have the Pro, Max, and Ultra plans in the United States.
