Megyn Kelly Reveals Possible Vaccine Injury, Regrets Getting COVID Shot

by Tom Ozimek via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours),

Megyn Kelly, a veteran journalist and podcaster, said Wednesday that she deeply regrets getting the COVID-19 vaccine because she believes she may have suffered a vaccine injury.

Ms. Kelly said that she regrets getting vaccinated and then boosted, saying she doesn't think it was necessary—and that a doctor told her that an autoimmune condition she developed after getting the shot may be related to the vaccine.

“I regret getting the vaccine even though I’m a 52-year-old woman because I don’t think I needed it,” Ms. Kelly said during a Sept. 6 episode of her podcast "The Megyn Kelly Show."

I think I would have been fine. I had got COVID many times, and it was well past when the vaccine was doing what it was supposed to be doing,” she added.

For the first time, I tested positive for an autoimmune issue at my annual physical. And I went to the best rheumatologist in New York, and I asked her, do you think this could have to do with the fact that I got the damn booster and then got COVID within three weeks? And she said yes. Yes. I wasn’t the only one she’d seen that with,” Ms. Kelly said.

Her current vaccine regret stands in contrast to remarks she made in April 2021, when she said she had "zero qualms" about getting the shot.

“Am getting the [Johnson & Johnson] vaccine this [weekend]. Have zero qualms [because] have spent a life immersed in a media obsessed with fear-mongering that is often irresponsible and untrue. Do what your doctor tells you to do and ignore everyone else,” she said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

Ms. Kelly's expression of regret at getting the shot comes amid reports linking spike protein-based COVID-19 vaccines to skin problems, a dull ringing in the ears known as tinnitusvisual impairmentsblood clotting, and even death.

Studies have also revealed a number of issues affecting vaccinated children. For example, one recent study, published in the journal Frontiers in Immunology, shows that the mRNA-based vaccine for COVID-19 reduced children's immune responses to other infections, making them more prone to getting sick after coming into contact with other pathogens.

Another study published by Circulation showed that some children who experienced heart inflammation after COVID-19 vaccination had scarring on their hearts months later.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) continues to recommend that people of all ages receive a COVID-19 vaccine despite the risk of heart inflammation and other side effects.

Also, documents show that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the CDC hid data showing a spike in COVID-19 cases among the vaccinated.

Former President Donald Trump told former Michigan gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon in a recent conversation on her podcast that pharmaceutical companies have an "obligation to be honest" about vaccine side effects and should disclose all relevant data on vaccine harms.

President Trump and Ms. Dixon discussed a range of issues in an episode on the Tudor Dixon Podcast last week. At one point in the discussion, Ms. Dixon asked about President Biden’s announcement to fund a new COVID-19 vaccine.

He wants everyone to get this vaccine,” Ms. Dixon said. “And we’re hearing about a lot of complaints from vaccine injured. To say a lot is an understatement."

She then asked President Trump about vaccine data transparency, citing reports of various adverse events, including heart inflammation and blood clots.

"Numerous pharmaceutical companies have refused to release their data on vaccine side effects," she said. "But we’ve seen cases of myocarditis, blood clots, and heart attacks; they’re all increasing. The research has never been released.”

She asked if President Trump would “demand that the vaccine companies, that the pharmaceutical companies release their vaccine data to the public so that we can see what they’re actually seeing about the side effects of this vaccine?”

President Trump replied by saying that pharmaceutical companies "should do that," adding that "we’re all in this together, and they should be doing that."

In context of President Biden's remarks about funding a new COVID-19 vaccine, the former president said that "anything new has got to be looked at very carefully."

President Trump then reiterated the point that pharmaceutical companies should release any data on vaccine side effects.

"They should be made public immediately. People should understand that, and they should know what research is showing," President Trump said.

He added that pharmaceutical companies would be wrong to withhold any information on vaccine injuries.

“They have to be honest with the numbers, the facts, and they have an obligation to be honest,” he said, “And if they are going to hold back, that means they’re holding back something that’s not good.”

We’ll stand for them in many ways,” President Trump said of people who suffered vaccine injuries.

Meanwhile, the FDA has been ordered to accelerate the pace at which it releases to the public data it relied on to license COVID-19 vaccines.

In May, a federal judge in Texas ruled that the FDA must hurry up with disclosing data that underpinned its decision to license COVID-19 vaccines, ordering all documents to be made public by mid-2025 rather than, as the FDA wanted, over the course of about 23.5 years.

"Democracy dies behind closed doors," is how U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman opened his order (pdf), which requires the FDA to produce the data on Moderna's and Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccines at an average rate of at least 180,000 pages per month.

PANIC OVER THE BORDER AT THE WHITE HOUSE?

Never mind the latest polls showing Trump running even or ahead of Biden in a head-to-head matchup which are causing political panic among Democrats. More immediate is the rebellion of blue states and blue cities against Biden’s open borders policy, as related yesterday. This is shaping up as a political disaster for Democrats.

So what is Biden going to do about it? Close the border! Finally! Oh, wait—he’s going to close the border around Texas, not the border to the United States:

Biden administration considers forcing migrant families to remain in Texas

The Biden administration is considering forcing some migrant families who enter the country without authorization to remain near the border in Texas while awaiting asylum screening, effectively limiting their ability to travel within the U.S., three U.S. officials told The Times.

Administration officials have been considering the idea as a way to stem recent increases in the numbers of migrant families crossing the southern border, which reportedly reached an all-time high last month. Supporters of the remain-in-Texas idea, which has yet to be finalized, hope that it would help the administration advance its goals of quickly deporting families who fail initial asylum screenings and deterring other families from crossing in the first place.

But the proposal, which recalls President Reagan’s efforts to limit asylum-seekers’ movements in the late 1980s, is likely to draw fierce opposition from immigrant rights groups and border-state officials. Since 2022, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, has bused thousands of migrants out of his state to Democrat-run cities such as Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C.

The Biden plan would force certain migrant families to remain in Texas — or possibly other border states — by tracking their location through GPS monitoring devices, such as ankle bracelets, according to the three officials, who were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

I’m not sure about the legality of this, but if it is implemented I hope Governor Abbott and other border state governors will simply defy it, and send more migrants to sanctuary cities.

Trucker warns of 'catastrophic' Biden EPA restrictions: Supply chain could be 'dead in the water'

One trucker issued a stark warning over Biden's new Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) restrictions, warning the repercussions could cripple the American food supply and completely derail the nation's supply chain.

JKC Trucking co-owner Mike Kucharski addressed his frustration surrounding the regulations during "Fox & Friends" on Friday, explaining that the green energy push comes at a time when the industry is already battling surmounting red tape.

"This mandate that they're proposing is based on brand-new technology, and I just want to say I support green energy, but it's extremely frustrating they're trying to jam this down truckers' throats because we're already overregulated," Kucharski told Steve Doocy.

"These regulations are not practical and almost impossible for five reasons," he continued. "The costs are astronomical. Truckers will not be able to afford these things… These new machines, infrastructure, we're not ready for that. Testing data is slim to none. It's being done right now. Driving range is way less than we currently have, and it's going to have… less payload… and then the worst part is the American people are going to pay for all these new trucks."

The new emission standards put forth by the EPA "are significantly more stringent," "cover a wider range of heavy-duty engine operating conditions" compared to previous standards and are aimed at reducing emissions of nitrogen oxides and other pollutants.

The rule officially went into effect on March 27 of this year, but will be implemented for new trucks sold after 2027.

Nonetheless, Kucharski suggested the new technology has been implemented too quickly, expressing fears it could ultimately fail - which could yield a supply chain disaster.

"This technology is being passed through way too fast with little testing and data. These truckers need an affordable hybrid truck with, I would say, at least two systems of power," Kucharski said. "If one shuts down or brakes, the other one continues."

"I would love to see a truck with three systems, so… we could continue going because if this technology fails, the entire supply chain will be dead in the water," he continued. "Failure is not merely inconvenient, it's catastrophic. This is not an option, especially for the food supply chain of America."

The EPA estimates the technology required to meet the new rule’s standards will cost between $2,568 and $8,304 per vehicle, but the American Truck Dealers Association (ATDA) estimates it is more likely a $42,000 increase per truck.

In total, the ATDA projects the associated costs of this new regulation on the country could reach $55 billion over the lifetime of the program.

Fox News reached out to the EPA for comment, but has not heard back yet.

Pickpockets from Central, South America using kids to target unsuspecting tourists in Times Sq.

Crews of migrants have been using children as decoys to pickpocket unsuspecting tourists in Times Square, The Post has learned.

The area — from Sixth to Eighth Avenues between West 42nd and West 49th Streets — has seen the number of pickpocket complaints skyrocket 222% — to 187 so far this year from 58 in the same span in 2022, NYPD data show.

“You can’t have this,” NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell said. “People are going to go back to wherever they came from and say, ‘I spent half my trip canceling my credit cards.’”

When they are arrested, the pickpockets tell cops they are from Central and South America, police said.

It’s not clear if they are among 110,000 or so asylum seekers who have arrived in the city over the past year because cops are barred from seeking immigration status.

Police Officer Joe Soldano, a Pickpocket Squad leader, said some of the thieves use children, even infants, to distract the tourists while they ply their trade.

The squad recently collared a mother who was pickpocketing while pushing her baby in a stroller, he said.

“We had the baby back at the precinct and had to go the whole [child services] route,” Soldano said.

Often a pickpocketing parent steers a child to a tourist and has the child “go in front of them, stop short or go to the side of them, bump them by accident,” he said. “And the father goes into the pocket.”

In one recent case, Soldano collared a father who boosted a tourist’s wallet.

“I grabbed him with the wallet in his hand . . . I apprehended him and the kid took off,” he said.

Often the pickpockets use static props like bags and other items to hide their sleight of hand.

Others are “just brazen,” Soldano said. “We’ve seen some guys [with] no prop on them at all just go into someone’s pocket. We watched one guy do three separate incidents. We were following him the whole time. He’s just diving into people’s bags.”

Times Square is so frenetic that victims don’t always realize they’ve been ripped off, he said.

“It’s a lot of tourism and people don’t feel it,” he said.

But the biggest challenge for the teams right now, though, is the victims themselves.

“They don’t believe we’re cops,” he said of the plainclothes team. “So like, it’s very tough when they’re like running away from you.” He said police have been trying to make sure they have uniformed cops on hand.

Chell said the level of pickpocketing in Times Square led to the creation of the 13-member squad in April.

“In the beginning of the year, we saw just a tremendous influx of pickpockets just around Times Square,” Chell said. “It’s still out of control, but it’s getting better.”

Adams warns cuts of up to 15% coming to every NYC agency over migrant crisis is ‘detrimental’

Mayor Eric Adams’ demand for budget cuts of up to 15% across all New York City agencies could gut a host of critical municipal services, including trash pickups, afterschool programs and cops, experts told The Post.

All departments were told they will need to slash 5% from their budget by November, amounting to a several billion dollar haircut from the city-funded portion of Adams’ $107 billion spending plan.

But if the city doesn’t get enough financial aid from the Biden administration or Albany by early next year, Adams warned additional 5% cuts could come in both January and April.

“Since the large influx of asylum seekers to our city began last spring, we have warned New Yorkers that every city service could be impacted by this crisis if we did not get the support we needed,” Adams said in a statement.

“Coupling the costs of a national crisis that has fallen onto New York City with COVID funding that is running out and reduced revenue growth, our city’s financial future may be at risk if we do not act.

Adams insisted his administration will seek to minimize program disruption to programs and there will not be layoffs — which  City Hall insiders told The Post is a pipe dream.

“There’s no scenario of a 5% cut at every agency without layoffs,” said one source. “It will mean dirtier streets and crime could go up.”

Adams previously announced two rounds of cuts to deal with the crisis, including 3% cuts across all city agencies last September and another a 4.75% cut for the current fiscal year.

"The administration will seek to minimize disruption to programs and services, and there will not be layoffs," Mayor Eric Adams said.
“The administration will seek to minimize disruption to programs and services, and there will not be layoffs,” Mayor Eric Adams said.
James Messerschmidt for NY Post

The latest announcement comes as the NYPD continues to grapple surging crime, and a struggle by the Department of Homeless Services and other city agencies to provide many critical services.

“Oh my God! I don’t think any agency could take a 5% cut. It would be detrimental to quality of life — no question,” said Councilwoman Gale Brewer (D-Manhattan),  who sits on the finance committee.

“We’re talking about programs that support essential workers, social workers, housing, health care. I don’t know if you could do it without layoffs.”

Councilman David Carr (R-Staten Island) said he believes the mayor’s action “demonstrates in real time” how difficult it is to keep the city financially solvent while simultaneously offering shelter “carte blanche” to asylum seekers.

“This is going to hurt services and [halt] new hires that the city was looking to make in order to exercise basic functions,” he said. “I hope that everyone who has been in favor of an open-ended commitment to housing migrants as they come are thinking twice about that.”

Joe Lhota, a former city budget director and deputy mayor during the Giuliani administration, said he believes Adams had no choice but to make the cuts but it’s “possible” to pull it off with good management.

“Agency commissioners will have to do more with less,” he said. “The mayor has no choice. He has to balance the budget.”

Both Lhota and Brewer agreed with the centrist Democratic mayor that D.C. and Albany must provide more financial aid to prevent city cuts.

The city has opened more than 200 emergency shelters for the more than 110,000 migrants. Adams has said the city has spent nearly $1.5 billion since dealing with the new arrivals over a year ago and could spend up to $12 billion by July 2025.

Many New Yorkers were left wondering Saturday how badly city services would be affected upon hearing agency budgets were being gutted.

“It’s crazy,” said Tia Lebhen, 29, a Brooklyn healthcare worker. “New York City is packed already; our people don’t have enough, and you are giving it away to the migrants? I understand that migrants need help, but New Yorkers, hard working American citizens don’t have enough, and now you’re cutting budgets.”

“I feel for the migrants, but we can’t afford this,” said a CUNY teacher who opted to remain anonymous. “I teach in the CUNY system, and we already have budget cuts, and now more budget cuts? I support immigration, but this is not good for the city. I worry my classes may get cut, and my students will have less resources.”

The city’s socialist Comptroller Brad Lander  said his office would review the planned cuts but warned “scapegoating asylum seekers will not improve education, public safety, housing affordability or quality of life with New Yorkers.”
