'Zelensky: Russia will burn for next 40 days'

 Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Thursday that he had approved a new operation against Russia, stating the country "will burn in the fire of Ukrainian attacks for the next 40 days."

During a meeting with Major General Yevhenii Khmara, Zelensky also discussed a series of additional measures aimed at forcing Moscow to bring the war against his country to an end. The Ukrainian leader added that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) will be responsible for new operations against Russia. "Importantly, for several months in a row, the SBU has demonstrated the highest performance in defending Ukraine’s positions on the front lines through the use of various types of drones," he wrote on social media following the meeting.

The increasing pace and range of Ukrainian drone strikes against vital oil infrastructure have already resulted in fuel shortages throughout Russia.
