'Iran's agency warns ships to follow designated routes'

 Iran's Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA) announced on Thursday that authorities cannot provide safe passage guarantees or insurance coverage for ships that deviate from designated routes.

"The consequences arising from passage through unauthorized routes shall be the responsibility of the owner, operator, and vessel commander," the PGSA noted.

Previously, it was reported that the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy targeted a Singapore-flagged cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz.
