Alaska Airlines announced on Wednesday that it has ordered 105 Boeing 737-10 aircraft and five 787 widebody aircraft, the largest order in its history. The planes will be delivered through 2035.
The airline said it will have a fleet of more than 475 aircraft by 2030 and over 550 aircraft by 2035. The new widebody planes will allow it to fly to at least 12 long-haul international destinations from Seattle by 2030.
Boeing's shares gained 1.16% in premarket trade.
