The Chinese authorities told some of the country's tech businesses to "temporarily" stop orders for Nvidia Corp.'s H200 AI semiconductors, The Information reported on Wednesday.
Sources told the media outlet that the Chinese government issued the note this week, as it instructed the companies to wait until it decides if and under what conditions it will authorize the use of the aforementioned chips.
