'Araghchi on oil: We have many surprises in store'

 Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Monday that "we, too, have many surprises in store" while addressing the global oil crisis driven by turmoil in the Middle East.

In a post on X, Araghchi shared a table showing rising energy prices, noting that "nine days into Operation Epic Mistake, oil prices have doubled while all commodities are skyrocketing." He claimed that "the United States is plotting against our oil and nuclear sites in hopes of containing huge inflationary shock," adding that "Iran is fully prepared."
