United States President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin discussed global developments in a phone call, Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov confirmed on Monday.
The phone call, which marked the first conversation between Putin and Trump in the last two months, lasted "about an hour." Ushakov described it as "business-like, frank, and constructive," adding that the two leaders shared perspectives on the ongoing global developments, including the crises in Iran and Venezuela, as well as the Ukraine peace talks.
Ushakov confirmed that Trump and Putin expressed "willingness to communicate regularly."
