Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced it launched "precision missiles" at a United States military base in Bahrain.
The IRGC claims the strike was in retaliation for reports that the US had targeted a freshwater desalination plant located on an island in the Strait of Hormuz.
The US military has not yet confirmed the missile strike.
