The Jordanian Armed Forces intercepted 70 ballistic missiles and 25 explosive-laden drones launched from Iran between July 9 and July 25, official state news agency Petra reported on Tuesday.
Jordanian air defenses and royal air force jets neutralized the incoming airborne threats away from populated areas, preventing casualties or damage to critical infrastructure. The military reiterated that it will not allow the kingdom's airspace or territory to become a battleground for regional conflict.
