The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Tuesday it eliminated Muhammad Khalil Muhammad Aslam, a commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), stating he was responsible for the abduction of Israeli citizens during the October 7th 2023 Hamas attack.
"In recent months, Aslam advanced attacks targeting IDF troops and Israeli civilians," the IDF clarified on social media. Aslam had been assassinated in the Khan Yunis area of Gaza.
