Bahrain said on Monday it would hold a joint military exercise with armed forces from other Gulf Cooperation Council states from Tuesday through Thursday.
The “Bahrain Shield” exercise would “improve combat performance levels” and strengthen “the cooperation framework and joint military coordination to face various challenges,” the Bahrain Defense Force said.
The military did not specify which of the six GCC member states would participate.
