Nasdaq reported a network disruption on Thursday affecting multiple multicast groups originating from its Carteret data center, warning customers of intermittent data gaps across its US equities feeds.
The disruption affected all of its US equities markets, including all hardware and software feeds for Nasdaq, Nasdaq Texas, and Nasdaq PSX, the exchange operator said.
Nasdaq advised clients to switch to their Chicago feeds as a backup, noting that those feeds remain unaffected. Customers experiencing data gaps were also urged to submit recovery requests for missing data. The exchange added that it was investigating the issue and would provide further updates as more information becomes available.
