The United States has shifted its position in the past few hours and now favors a preemptive attack on Iran, Israeli Haaretz newspaper reported on Wednesday, citing unnamed White House sources. Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports emerged that the US may have already carried out an air strike on Sirik in southern Iran.
According to the report, Washington changed its stance after US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth presented new intelligence to President Donald Trump after his trip to Israel and meeting with that country's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
