Telehealth firm Hims & Hers Health said on Tuesday it plans to sell Eli Lilly's diabetes and weight-loss drugs on its platform.
Shares of the company were up 8.5% in afternoon trading.
The telehealth firm is following its peers Teladoc and LifeMD in offering Lilly's Zepbound ahead of restrictions on selling copies known as compounded drugs.
The company said it will offer both branded versions of Lilly's tirzepatide — the active ingredient in weight-loss drug Zepbound and diabetes medicine Mounjaro — as well as generics of Novo Nordisk's diabetes drug, liraglutide.
Hims & Hers previously only offered cheaper versions of Novo's weight-loss drug Wegovy.
Shares of the company have fallen 40% since the U.S. FDA removed Novo's top-selling Wegovy and diabetes drug Ozempic from its shortage list on February 21.
Without a shortage, compounders may not produce copies of the branded drugs regularly or in large amounts, according to FDA guidance.
The FDA said in March it will not take action against compounding pharmacies making copies of Wegovy until a federal court delivers its ruling in a lawsuit against the agency.
The FDA clarified that state-licensed compounding pharmacies and outsourcing facilities — which make compounded drugs in bulk — have until April 22 and May 22 respectively, or until the court decides on the injunction, to stop making Wegovy copies, whichever comes later.
On Tuesday morning, former Biden administration "disinformation czar" Nina Jankowicz repeatedly refused to disclose who's funding her new gig - the 'American Sunlight Project' - which cropped up after a stint at the USAID-funded UK-based Centre for Information Resilience (CIR) -for which she registered as a foreign agentwhile serving as their Vice President.
To review - Jankowicz, who previously served as a disinformation fellow at the Wilson Center, advised the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry as part of the Fulbright-Clinton Public Policy Fellowship, and was then selected to head the Biden DHS's newly formed Disinformation Governance Board - which was quickly dismantled amid criticism over censorship under the guise of fighting disinformation.
Four months later, she launched "The Hypatia Project" for CIR - where she was the Vice President until April 2024, at which point she co-founded the American Sunlight Project.
Fast forward to this morning, Jankowicz was evasive when asked by Republicans during a congressional hearing on disinformation about her funding...
Nina Jankowicz, the short-lived head of Biden’s Disinformation Governance Board aka Disinformation Czar refuses to say if her new org, The American Sunlight Projegt, is funded by George Soros.
As it turns out, Jankowicz's co-founder at the American Sunlight Project is Carlos Alvarez-Aranyos, a "communications professional" who worked for the Biden DoD, and is "one of the people who launched the call for a boycott of Tesla."
Alvarez-Aranyos comes from a wealthy and prominent family in the Dominican Republic. His father, Luis Álvarez Renta, is a well-known Dominican financier. Carlos is a nephew of the renowned fashion designer Oscar de la Renta.
Biden's censorship queen Nina Jankowicz currently works at the American Sunlight Project (ASP), and previously worked at USAID-funded Center for Information Resilience.
“I need to have on my resume, so I can get a job when this thing is over, that I bankrupted Tesla.”
This is an outright admission the top Tesla boycott organizers’ personal financial prospects depend on taking down Tesla, and they must succeed in order to get paid. https://t.co/CJnQDX38rCpic.twitter.com/Ti775yTplt
San Francisco is launching a new program backed by Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom that will issue speeding tickets based on income.
The Speed Safety System Pilot Program was signed by Newsom in October 2023 and allows cities across California to use speeding cameras to fine drivers. Those considered lower-income are eligible for a steep discount if they receive a speeding ticket.
Violations for speeding range from $50 to $500, but individuals with a household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level are eligible for a 50% discount, according to the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency. Indigent persons, or individuals who are homeless, are eligible for an 80% discount on the speeding ticket.
San Francisco officials launched the program on March 20 with a total of 33 speeding cameras around the city, but only around half of them are operational.
For the first 60 days of the pilot program, the cameras will only be used to send warnings to speeding drivers, and will issue fines after. Violations start when an individual drives their car more than 11 mph over the speed limit.

“The program is intended to benefit all communities and not single out any particular neighborhood,” the fact sheet states.
San Francisco isn’t the only city planning to roll out the pilot program.
The Los Angeles Department of Transportation will roll out a similar program in 2026 that targets speeding drivers, but has an option for low-income individuals to perform community service instead of paying fines.

The federal government will seek the death penalty against Luigi Mangione for his alleged cold-blooded killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in Manhattan, US Attorney General Pam Bondi said Tuesday.
“Luigi Mangione’s murder of Brian Thompson — an innocent man and father of two young children — was a premeditated, cold-blooded assassination that shocked America,” Bondi wrote in a statement. “After careful consideration, I have directed federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty in this case as we carry out President Trump’s agenda to stop violent crime and Make America Safe Again.”

The 26-year-old University of Pennsylvania grad allegedly used a 3D-printed ghost gun equipped with a homemade silencer to execute Thompson outside a Midtown Hilton hotel where UnitedHealthcare’s parent company was holding its annual investor conference, prosecutors say.
The alleged assassin had been plotting the attack for months and wrote in his notebook about plans to “wack” the head of a medical insurance company, alongside angry tirades against the industry, court papers allege.
Attorney General Pam Bondi directed federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty in the case.AP Mangione, who hails from a prominent Maryland family, allegedly had the notebook on him when Pennsylvania cops arrested him at a McDonald’s in Altoona five days after the shocking slaying. Prosecutors have also revealed that he was carrying duct tape and zip ties in his backpack at the time.
The accused killer is charged with the brazen murder in separate cases brought by prosecutors in both Manhattan federal and state court.
New York state prosecutors have not been able to seek capital punishment since the practice was outlawed in 2004, but Mangione faces life in prison if convicted in state court of an upgraded murder as an act of terrorism charge.
It was not immediately clear Tuesday how or if Bondi’s decision would impact whether Mangione will go on trial in federal or state court first.

A federal jury would be required to sign off on the government’s push for the death penalty in order for Mangione to be executed.
Law enforcement sources have told The Post that the feds had been lobbied by the insurance industry to bring a case against Mangione, and that they were considering asking for the death penalty.
Since his arrest, Mangione has garnered a cult-like following of supporters who have decried what they’ve called America’s corrupt healthcare system.
A gaggle of goo-goo-eyed groupies, mostly young women, has packed the gallery at his court appearances. One secret admirer even snuck a heart-shaped note to him in a pair of socks he was allowed to bring to his latest circus-like court hearing — but Mangione refused to wear the footwear because he did not find them fashionable, according to a recent legal filing.
Mangione has pleaded not guilty to all charges. His legal team did not have an immediate comment Tuesday on Bondi’s announcement.
