Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty said on Wednesday that his country is ready to host any talks on Iran that would help reduce the tensions in the Middle East. He also welcomed the Trump administration's efforts to start ceasefire negotiations with Iran.
Earlier today, Abdelatty spoke to the European Union's top diplomat Kaja Kallas, stressing the "urgent need" for coordination between Egypt and the EU to "advance diplomatic channels and political solutions, in order to prevent the widening of the conflict."
