'Iran said to have responded to US ceasefire proposal'

 The Iranian authorities sent their response to the United States 15-point ceasefire proposal through the intermediaries on Wednesday night, Iran's semi-official outlet Tasnim News Agency reported on Thursday, citing an "informed" source.

According to the report, Iran responded that the war must end and that conditions must be created so that it does not start again, adding that the payment of damages and war compensation must be guaranteed, with peace being implemented "on all fronts and in the case of all resistance groups that participated in this battle."

"It is clear to Iran that the US claim about negotiations is merely a 'third deception' project, and that the Americans are pursuing several goals under the guise of negotiations: First, deceiving the world by presenting themselves as seemingly peaceful and demanding an end to the war; second, keeping the price of oil low in the world; and third, buying time to prepare for a new aggressive action in southern Iran through a land invasion," the source reportedly said.
