Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned on Thursday that countries allowing the United States or Israel to use their territory for attacks could face "dangerous consequences" for regional stability.
"Any negligence on their part ... will result in their international liability and will have dangerous consequences for the peace and stability of the region," Araghchi said during a call with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira. He added that Iran's actions are within its "inherent right to legitimate self-defense."
Meanwhile, Vieira expressed concern over violations of international law and stressed the need to respect sovereignty. The warning comes as tensions with Washington escalate, with the US weighing further military options, even a potential transfer of military aid designated for Ukraine to the Middle East.
