Over the years, certain hard-and-fast rules have become very apparent.
One is that you always have to look at basic principles to analyse situations and motivations, and to determine potential outcomes.
Another is that you have to look at someone's inherent tactics to frame what they are doing at the moment.
By now it has become painfully apparent that there are vast differences between the two sides of the political spectrum. Goodness knows that the pro-freedom side is not perfect. But we aren't insane, and while the label was more or less imposed on us by the people who took all the positive-sounding words, we are conserving what has proven to work over the past 250 years: individual liberty, limited government and a bedrock of property rights.
Contrast this with the folks that dressed themselves up in fancy and false words that at best mean nothing, and at worst mean the exact opposite. They demand collective control, unlimited government, and nothing in the way of property rights. Principles that are anything but positive and have been on the loser side of history for the past 200 years.
Thus, these basic principles tell us their bedrock motivations and potential outcomes.
This, despite the blizzard of B.S. from all the positive wordage from all the world's best dictionaries and lexicons. Trying to put a positive spin on complete government control and no property rights (the old 'you will own nothing') which always goes over like a proverbial lead balloon.
Sure, it all sounds good when someone in that mansion over there is getting screwed, because it means you're finally going to get that treasure at the end of the rainbow. But then you realize that road apples are generally round and roll downhill. And while you may cheer when they roust the guy behind the fancy brick walls, it's never going to be enough, because while you're in line for your free stuff, there's going to be billions behind you looking for the same handout. So that next your head will be on the chopping block. Does that sound like a good deal now?
What's that about Individual liberty, limited government, and a bedrock of property rights?
Sounds pretty good, even without all the flowery fancy words.
So, our friends on the other side, having always done what they've done best, lie through their commie teeth and project 'til the cows come home. Because when ideological fate deals you a losing hand of garbage ideas that no one will want after they figure out just what they are, they only have one option, and that's to lie about them and impose them by force when that doesn't work.
Pro-freedom patriots have been warning about this for years, and of course the rejoinder from the false and fancy word folks was to throw down the fact-check flag on the field and claim this is disinformation, out of context, or simply false, until now.
With the ongoing civil war between the DSA and the 'normal' Democrats (pause for laughter), the Fabián wolf has finally shed its sheep disguise, and it's begun to openly admit it wants to target key parts of our limited representative republic (note that it's not a 'democracy').
In the recent past, they've admitted that their socialist national agenda is to dismantle the restraints on the government.
And only recently, also said the quiet part out loud: that they are "famous" (infamous or insane, take your pick) for their "hatred of the United States Constitution.”
Calling it the “the obstacle” they must “get over to have a revolution.”
We've seen the warning signs; you don't try to Cloward-Piven the government without a clue of what will happen when you 'succeed.' You don't rip open the border, bring in illegal invaders on free flights or otherwise turn the border area into a human form tsunami without evil intentions towards your own country. Then you don't actively block efforts to correct this tidal wave of criminality, even though it will directly impact the people you supposedly care about with higher housing, food, and other costs while depressing wages at the same time. And you don't stop efforts to send the illegal invaders back when they will victimize the most vulnerable in your community – again, especially when you always say you supposedly care about these people.
Even worse, the far left is infected with third-worldism, an old mind virus worse than 'woke,' that explains their open border, abolishing prisons and police policy positions along with fomenting a communist revolution.
But it's even more of a startling revelation when they almost openly admit the final goal of their insanity. Because the average age of an ordinary constitution is 17 years, ironically close to that of your average DSA member. We've been around for 250 years, and our Constitution was ratified on June 21, 1788, far longer than the average constitution. This, along with the foundational parts of our limited federal government, individual liberty, and property rights, is the bedrock of the country. Something the far left and the DSA cannot stand.
This is why the steady stream of people walking away from the Democrat party is likely to turn into a flood. Many prominent Democrats have disengaged from the party, and with their insane ideas coming forth, they won't be the last.
All of this is illustrated with a derivation of the Colin Wright Political ‘Journey’ meme. The cartoon of political spectrum lines with the left side moving further and further away from everyone else has the centrist simply cutting off the "progs" as they go off the deep end.
So, where do we go from here?
Maybe the DSA Marxist maniacs can go off by themselves. Part of the problem is that their infection is still part of the Democratic party, so we're not going to want all of them.
In the end, we have to recognize that the DSA has gone off the deep end and that the only sane choice these days has been as it's always been. While the left is doing its level best to damage itself, the DSA mind virus is still spreading in their ranks, and thus they pose an even bigger threat than before. It's the recurring saying that we're going to hear a lot in the next few months that while the GOP might not be perfect, at least they aren't insane. That's who we need to support; that should be the obvious point in all of this.
