Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei was absent from a ceremony at the Imam Reza Shrine in Mashhad on Thursday marking 40 days since the burial of his father and predecessor, Ali Khamenei.
A photo released by Iranian media showed his brothers Mostafa, Masoud and Meysam Khamenei attending the ceremony.
