Iran's Kayhan newspaper warned that efforts to overthrow the Islamic Republic have not been abandoned and urged government supporters to continue nightly street rallies.
The newspaper, published under the supervision of a representative of Supreme Leader, argued that maintaining what it described as a victory was more important than achieving it initially.
Kayhan added that declining participation, gatherings dominated by a single political faction and internal disputes could undermine the rallies.
The newspaper called for broader participation in streets and public squares to counter what it described as continuing efforts to bring down the Islamic Republic.
