Iran is ready to pursue new arrangements to restore regional stability without US interference, Ali Bagheri Kani, deputy secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, told Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
During their meeting in Beijing on Monday, Bagheri welcomed China's diplomatic efforts, particularly President Xi Jinping's initiative to establish a new regional security framework, describing it as a key element in resolving the current crisis.
Xi proposed a four-point framework in September calling for Middle Eastern countries to take greater control of their regional security arrangements.
