OpenAI signed on Monday an agreement with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Abu Dhabi-based artificial intelligence company G42 on the integration of AI capabilities.
The deal was signed amid OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and meeting with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Under the terms of the agreement, the energy firm will integrate OpenAI's advanced AI capabilities across its operations in order to improve efficiency and productivity.
"Abu Dhabi and the UAE are setting a bold, global standard for AI integration across both the public and private sectors to make sure the benefits of AI reach everyone.
