Multiple United States Air Force (USAF) refuelling aircraft are currently airborne over the Persian Gulf amid ongoing tensions with Iran, FlightRadar data indicated on Tuesday.
At least two Boeing KC-46A Pegasus refuelling aircraft appear to be active over the Gulf as of 4:29 pm ET. The planes have taken off from the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, which was the target of Iranian missile attacks during ongoing hostilities between the US and Iran earlier this year.
