The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) said Bahrain has committed to joining Task Force Falcon Strike.
"We're excited to welcome Bahrain to Task Force Falcon Strike after the kingdom affirmed its commitment to join CENTCOM in building the world's first multinational attack drone unit," CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper said. He called Bahrain "a steadfast partner in strengthening regional security and stability."
Falcon Strike builds on Task Force Scorpion Strike, which CENTCOM described on X as its "first dedicated one-way attack drone squadron in the Middle East." Earlier, Cooper said the new unit would "expand on Scorpion Strike's success" and "scale drone capabilities" across the region as more partners join.
