United States Vice President JD Vance said that officials have uncovered close to $250 billion in fraudulent activity since he began leading the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud.
"We've found close to $250B in fraud just since I've been leading the anti-fraud task force," Vance said during a healthcare summit. We've just started to scratch the surface here," he added.
He also criticized those encouraging unauthorized individuals to sign up for Social Security benefits, saying, "you're not protecting Social Security, you're destroying it."
