Flydubai announced on Wednesday that it will suspend all flights from and to Israel while conducting an investigation into the attempt by one of its copilots to crash a plane full of Israeli passengers.
"We remain in close coordination with government authorities, regulators and airport stakeholders and will review the suspension as more information becomes available," the company said, adding that it is "fully committed" to the ongoing investigation.
Earlier today, a Flydubai plane flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv diverted from its route and landed in Saudi Arabia after one of the pilots stabbed another in an alleged attempt to crash the aircraft.
