Democrats create an AI panic and then falsely promise solutions

Democrats have been so good at handling everything they focus on, so I know they can come up with sensible ways to implement AI.

It is surprising that the Biden-Harris administration and other Democrats didn't solve this program while they were in office because Biden put Kamala in charge of the issue in 2023. Back then, Kamala led a meeting with tech leaders in 2023 to address the issue because the vigorous and sharp Biden needed to lighten his busy schedule:

Kamala is now lecturing Trump about what he must do to control China and handle AI. Kamala's brilliance and expertise on the issue can be summed up in her statement introducing the issue:

“I think the first part of this issue that should be articulated is AI is kind of a fancy thing,” Harris said. “First of all, it's two letters. It means artificial intelligence, but ultimately what it is is it's about machine learning.”

To help understand why it’s a mistake to rely on Democrat “solutions” for pressing problems, it’s time for a trip down memory lane. On other issues, the Democrats are equally successful:

Immigration

When Biden and Harris were in charge of immigration and border security laws and issues, they just opened up the border and let almost everyone in, including terrorists and gang members. They greatly enriched NGOs and Mexican cartels. They never cared about the costs or inflation their policies caused. Of course, Democrats in sanctuary cities and states participated and cheered these great policies. They would like to abolish ICE.

Climate Change

They set out to destroy oil, gas, and coal companies. They didn’t want people to be able to buy the vehicles they wanted, so they raised mileage requirements to unaffordable levels. They handed out kickbacks to political supporters like candy. They didn’t care how much their policies raised prices or how many jobs they would cost.

Have Democrat policies changed the climate, or have they just made a lot of green pushers rich?

Crime

Democrat policies on crime have frequently involved making sure there were a lot of soft-on-crime judges and prosecutors in place. No-bail laws are very popular with Democrats. Handing out commercial driver’s licenses to illegals is also a brilliant policy. Frequently, police are bashed. There seems to be a lot of sympathy for the criminals and little for victims.

Crime rates have dropped substantially under Trump, so we must get rid of him.

Terrorism, Iran

Obama and Biden seemed to have a policy, which included Europeans, to build up Iran’s finances so it could build more weapons and support terrorists.

Secondary Education

Throw a lot of money at the problem and work very hard to block poor children from having school choice.

Higher Education

Throw a lot of money at it, and when students and parents don’t make enough to pay back the loans, support Biden as he dictatorially and unconstitutionally uses our money to pay off the debts.

Manufacturing Jobs

Just watch as China becomes the main supply-chain source. Do nothing and claim that the jobs are gone for good.

Poverty and Inequality

Throw money at the problem and hand out free stuff as they make sure to have generational poverty instead of having policies to lift people up.

Health Care

Lie to people about Obamacare. Falsely claim that it will allow people freedom of choice and that their premiums will drop substantially. As prices soar, continue to say that Democrats have made health care more affordable and that more government control is needed.

Basically, Democrats want more government control of everything and to confiscate more money from companies and individuals to pay for the powerful government.

I fail to see how Democrat policies have solved problems, so I don’t believe they will have good solutions for AI control. Blocking AI here while China builds up AI is a terrible solution.

I do understand why Democrats are trying to scare everyone. That is always part of their playbook. They certainly do not want a campaign that focuses on their radical, unproductive, and unpopular policies.
