Yemen's Prime Minister Shaya Mohsen al-Zindani said on Tuesday that Houthis' recent advances no longer pose a threat to the country's internal security, but a "comprehensive threat to national and regional security," according to his office.
The Yemeni prime minister met with Yemen's Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohammed al-Shaddadi to discuss the Houthis "dangerous military escalation,"and coordinating the executive and legislative branches to "unify the national stance and strengthen the cohesion of state institutions."
Al-Zindani also condemned Iran's "systematic support" for Houthis and its use of Yemeni waters "as a platform for threatening regional security and international interests."
