Iran's deputy for foreign policy and international security at the Supreme National Security Council secretariat said Monday that regional countries had identified Israel as the main source of instability following talks in Tehran with officials from Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan.
"The countries of the region concluded that Israel is the origin, source and root cause of insecurity, instability and crises in the region," Ali Bagheri Kani said.
He also said Iran's armed forces and leadership had prevented the United States from achieving its objectives and disrupted Israel's plans.
