Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said on Sunday that the Yemeni rebel group carried out several attacks on Saudi Arabia, targeting the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, as well as the Southern Naval Base of the Border Guard Forces in Jizan and aircraft hangars, ammunition depots and drone control centers.
Saree said the attacks were conducted "in response to the treacherous Saudi aggression targeting our country and our people, and in retaliation for the massacres it committed yesterday in the capital Sana'a and the free governorates, which resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded, most of whom were women and children."
Earlier, the Houthis said that at least 11 people were killed in the Saudi-led coalition's attack on the Yemeni capital of Sanaa on Saturday.
