Yields on US government bonds fell on Thursday as investors' appetite for safe-haven assets appeared to grow amid rising tensions in the Middle East and concerns about artificial intelligence.
The yield on the 2-year note dropped 10.9 basis points to 4.714%. The 10-year bond yield slumped 12.7 basis points to 5.023%. The return on the 30-year bond plunged 10.1 basis points to 5.338%.
